Program

The first day of the course will be spent in a climbing school in a natural environment where we will climb single-pitch routes, perform rappelling maneuvers, set up meetings at height (15 meters) and learn how to organize our equipment. The second day we will go to the mountain to do an equipped long route, adapted to the level of the participants to test all the knowledge acquired. The location where we will do the course may be Montserrat or Berguedà depending on the weather or on particular request.

Objectives and contents:

  • Climb routes of various pitches as a 1st roper safely.
  • Hold meetings and belay the 2nd roper.
  • Practice and refresh the rappel maneuver.
  • Read and interpret a climbing review.
  • Learn to belay and rappel with a dynamic knot.
  • Strategy and decision-making.
  • Know and learn how to tie specific knots.

    Advantages:

    Small group: Maximum 4p. Option to meet people and form a climbing group with whom to go climbing. Discover interesting places.
