The ascent to the summit of Pedraforca (2,507m) is very varied; we will start from 1600 meters following a pleasant path where we will find subalpine vegetation of black pine, juniper and boxwood. As we advance, the landscape will change radically; the vegetation disappears to leave the limestone rock bare, compact and perfect for climbing step by step to the summit. During the route we will have very good panoramic views of Berguedà and the Cadí mountain range. In order to better understand this wonderful mountain I will give you details of geology, flora and fauna in an agile and easy format. Activity aimed at those people who enjoy a good state of physical fitness.

Program

The meeting point will be at 8:30 a.m. in front of the Cal Manel hostel, in Saldes. Before starting, the guide will give a 5-minute briefing to explain the experience and how the activity works.
